MIGO Awarded Its First Vance AFB Contract — Underground Fuel Tank Removal

MIGO Construction Group, Inc. (MIGO) is excited to announce a new partnership with Vance AFB Contracting through the recently awarded Remove Underground Fuel Tank project. This complex project at Vance AFB in Enid, OK, involves decommissioning and removing an underground fuel tank located in the middle of the active, operational airfield runway. All work will be performed outside of active flight operations — on weekends or at night — and will require strict adherence to Foreign Object Debris (FOD) procedures, flightline security measures, Vance AFB safety standards, and Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) requirements for UST closure reporting and decommissioning. While this is MIGO's first contract with Vance AFB, we look forward to continuing the partnership through future opportunities.

Onsite activities are tentatively scheduled to commence in late May 2023, with a contract completion date of early July 2023.
