Vance AFB Project Completed Early with Zero Punchlist Items

MIGO Construction Group, Inc. (MIGO) is proud to announce the successful early completion of our recent project at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Oklahoma. This effort reflects our team's ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality federal construction projects with speed, safety, and precision.

Despite the challenges of performing work on an active military flightline — where Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention is mission-critical — our team completed the project 45 days ahead of schedule and achieved zero punchlist items during the Final Inspection.

A major contributor to this accelerated timeline was MIGO's disciplined preconstruction approach. All preconstruction submittals were approved within two days of award — well before the Notice to Proceed was issued — and all material submittals were fully approved prior to the Pre-Construction Kickoff Meeting, allowing long-lead materials to be procured ahead of schedule. This proactive start, combined with strategic coordination and proper staffing, enabled our team to fast-track execution without compromising quality.

Key features of this project included:

• Partnering with the manufacturer-approved installer for Oklahoma, located out of state, to ensure compliance with all system requirements;
• Early completion of all submittals and deliverables, positioning the project for immediate mobilization once materials were delivered;
• Continuous quality control and FOD-prevention measures essential to maintaining a safe work environment on an active flightline; and
• A comprehensive approach to safety, resulting in a 100% safe project with no incidents.
