MIGO will serve as strategic team partner and prime subcontractor, providing site supervision, project management, general labor, and miscellaneous finishes. Work on this complex, highly technical project will replace the existing MDPE gas piping system with new Schedule 80 stainless steel piping rated for liquid propane, along with new stainless steel headers, valves, and fittings and an all-new cathodic protection system with new test points. The existing ground fire-scene igniters and housings will be replaced, and all housings and water jackets will be replaced as well. All work will be performed in accordance with USAF standards for AFTF and NFPA 58, Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code.
The work will kick off at the end of September with a preconstruction meeting, followed by the submittals and procurement phase. In-field activities are anticipated to begin in November or December 2023.
