MIGO Awarded 137th SOW Sidewalks Project, Oklahoma Air National Guard

MIGO Construction Group, Inc. (MIGO) was recently awarded a project at the Oklahoma Air National Guard's Will Rogers base for the 137th Special Operations Wing, located at Will Rogers International Airport in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The project entails constructing new sidewalks along Minute Man Drive and SW 58th Street. The work also includes removing and reinstalling existing traffic and building-identification signs, adding pavement markings, and providing ADA tactile warning pads at the ADA ramps.

The 4"-thick concrete sidewalks, placed on a 6" aggregate base, measure 2,067 linear feet, with 576 linear feet of curb and gutter and multiple tactile warning mats. Numerous existing street signs and building-identification signs will be removed and reinstalled to accommodate the new sidewalk layout.

Work should commence at the end of August 2023, with only two weeks in the field to minimize the impact on the 137th SOW's surrounding end-users.
