MIGO Awarded FAA MMAC Building Signs Refurbishment
We are excited to announce the award of another FAA task order at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) here in Oklahoma City, OK. This project will remove and replace five large building signs, including their CMU bases. The existing concrete footings will be protected in place. New 4" split-faced CMU block mounts — with anchor bolts, grout, mortar, and flexible membrane flashing — will be installed on the existing concrete footings. New aluminum signs with white lettering will then be mounted and secured to the new CMU bases. Work for these signs is spread throughout the main campus and the south campus across SW 74th Street.
We anticipate this project commencing in October 2024, with completion before the end of the 2024 calendar year. This new award marks the fourth active contract MIGO holds with the FAA at the MMAC campus.
