MIGO Awarded FAA MMAC Demolition of Buildings 256 & 212

MIGO Construction Group, Inc. (MIGO) is pleased to announce a recently awarded task order, Demo Building 256 & Building 212, issued under our General Construction IDIQ Contract with the FAA at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) in Oklahoma City, OK. This is the second task order awarded to MIGO under our IDIQ contract and the third project awarded by the FAA within the past nine months.

This project will demolish four modular buildings spanning 30,495 square feet of interior space, along with associated canopies, stairs, and ADA ramps. To support the FAA's sustainability principles, significant portions of the project will be recycled, including all carpet squares throughout the four structures, metal and aluminum, and concrete. Prior to demolition, all refrigerant in the 66 existing wall-mounted HVAC units will be drained and properly disposed of off-site, along with all fluorescent lights, ballasts, mercury-containing thermostats, and smoke-detector batteries.

We anticipate mobilizing the jobsite in the second or third week of May and completing the project before July 1.
